Editing ...
Well, I'm not going to make my deadline set for tomorrow. I still have nine more chapters to edit ... ugh.
That's ok. I'm giving myself one more day to finish the editing. Then, on Tuesday, I will send my manuscript off to the publisher. I figure one more day will be fine. When I was finishing the book, I had given myself til the end of October to do it. But, I didn't make that deadline either. I was still a few chapters short, so I had given myself til the end of November. Upon doing so, I finished the book by mid-month.
It feels good to have goals and set deadlines. Though, I may not always make them, the important thing is that they get done. And, so far, I have done what seemed impossible before. I finished book one!
