Publishing Update

Good evening readers! I am back with a quick update in my search for a publisher. It's been a long journey, I know. I hope that this will lead me on the track to the publishing success of Book One. 

So, I was introduced to this person a year ago by a co-worker when I was with the Legislature. She introduced us by email and we connected once saying hello. Since then, I haven't really given her that good research that I have been giving to other avenues. Anyway, this person, after doing my research on her, is definitely accomplished and amazing. We are finally back in touch since I decided to send her an email about my book. I told her what I'm looking for and she responded positively giving me all the information I need. It's great and a little overwhelming. She even gave me her rates for everything I'd desire. 

It's such a rush and it's a little intimidating. Yes, I am excited, but I have to be ready to pay for her services when I send her my manuscript. I will do it, but I have to be sure I can give her the pay she deserves. 

Also, I'm nervous that she won't like what she reads in my manuscript. So scared. And, that is what's holding me back. Yup. Dammit. Why do the scary feels have to get in the way??
